  Hey, I'm very jealous of you :) I think that travel is the most exciting thing ;) Well when it comes to safety, I think that your safe as much as you would be traveling america.. so it's not wilde west but you could always run in some fool or idiot XD If you are traveling alone I think you should not walk around the citys alone at night.. especially if you are female.. maybe in capitals where ther is a lot of people.. but in small city's and strange project's NO :) I think that swizerland and denmark are the safest. Maybe for begging you should first just meet with your couch surfing buddy's to show you town and not stay with them, although.. If i remember correctly on that paige people leave comments on their stay at someone's house, but if you are alone.. I wouldn't stay at someone's house :) You shoud go to Croatia during the summer, we have the most beautiful cost ever, you should visit brač, dubrovnik, korčula, split, vis, hvar, zadar.. etc :) We have the most tastiest food and wine :) And try not to look as a turist.. because in all that country's some people like to overcharge ;) Good luck!
