You really are over worrying. The carnival gets busy but the only real thing you should be careful of, is pickpockets, just like you should be in any crowded area and probably in life in general . Petty theft. Other than that keep close because it is busy and enjoy the event.

Stick together. If you all have mobiles, keep them out of sight, but if you get split up ring each other. You don't say how old you and your siblings are. Make sure that they have your phone number written on a piece of paper too so that if they don't have a phone or it gets lost or stolen, they can always find the nearest policeman who will be able to call you.
