Not a good idea if you are more than 7 months, if you did give birth in the UK or Ireland you would need insurance and the baby wouldn't be entitled to a UK or Irish passport as children born to people on vacation or to people without ILR always take the nationality of their parents.

Of course she may travel by plane. Her doctor would advise her not to travel from home if she were within one month of her due date. Have a great trip.

Yes, the airline will have no problem allowing her on the plane at just 4 months. I think they only refuse women who are over 8 months, or who *look* as if they're over 8 months.
