You won't be taking any fresh cake or any other fresh food on the plane to USA If you somehow manage it in Seoul, then when you get to USA customs there will be trouble. The exception is something you buy on international side - after you pass through customs (or something you bought on the way) in a sealed package (like an airtight plastic wrapping plus a box or tin), and does not contain fresh cream or something like that. If possible, put it in your main luggage. The rules are very clear and well published. Please read them. You have no excuse. Most every country has such rules.
