    It's you're router.. If you're using a wireless router you may have a bad connection. Either reboot your modem and router right before you play each time or to really solve the problem connect your computer to the MODEM with an ethernet cable. They sell ethernet cables as long as you need them. I have a 50 foot one.

A lot of times lag is either due to internet connection problems or you're running it on a computer that can't run fast enough to keep up with the game. What are you playing on? Steam? Server? Disc? Steam and servers can lag due to overpopulation on a particular server. If there are too many people on it at once the server may crash. Otherwise if you torrent or pirate things your computer will tend to lag and get viruses. Hope I helped..
