What jobs can I get in Georgia, specifically in Watkinsville, or Athens: When I am 16 Years Old?

  Check out the mall in Athens, grocery stores, and restaurants. All of them will hire 16 year olds. In downtown Athens there were comic shops and similar types of stores last time I was there, you may want to just walk in and ask if they are needing any part-time help. Right now is kind of a bad time to be looking since seasonal positions are filled (and will soon be done once Christmas is gone), and there are so many companies still not willing to hire. But, small businesses are doing about as much hiring, and in some cases, more hiring, than larger corporations. You can try going through some staffing companies like Randstad, Spherion, or Kelley. They don't have much going on, and even less for someone your age, but, they could get you in something closer to Watkinsville. Without a car, Athens is a long way for part-time hours. Good luck!
