What is the drinking age in Poland?

  • I'm going to Poland (Krakow) in a couple of weeks and I'm only 17, is the drinking age 16 or 18? Also, if 18 are they lenient with underage drinking or is it very strict?

  • Answer:

The drinking age is 18. In terms of how strict we are - you may struggle to buy alcohol... unless you look older. They very rearly ask for proof of ID....

Actually, there isn't one, but you have to be 18 to purchase. So yes, you can drink if someone older buys it.
