Well, it's not totally a "scam", but it IS a ruse to get you to sit for a long, pressured time share presentation. The "cruise", which in no way resembles a real cruise, takes place on an old converted ferry boat, goes only to Nassau, requires lots of "fees" etc. and then, of course, has the sales pitch. Don't do it! You can do a search and find the cautionary tales written by others who were duped.

There are a lot of crazy scams out there but you can get a real $99 cruise with no timeshare from a regular cruise broker. Check the site below, we've taken this cruise twice already & the last time with friends who are also going again. They've had the same offer for years with no timeshare crap. Hope this helps!
