Aruba has the highest return visits of any destination in the Caribbean. It's small, easy to tour, offers great food and beaches, the people are friendly and the resorts are beautiful. It's also has a great cruise port at Oranjestad. If you can afford it, I highly recommend staying at or near Palm Beach. It's one of the best beaches and has some of the best dining and nightlife in the region.

As Bandit said, your question is too broad. Some islands are better for nightlife, some for just relaxing. I like St Thomas as it isn't too expensive, and you have St John (which is expensive, but nicer) a $6 ferry ride away.
