My room is yellow, so what color scheme should i go with?

How about blue-green & gray??? They are complimentary colors of yellow. I found this fun but sophisticated set at WalMart (who I think has the best selection of bedding anywhere) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tribeca-Living-Maxwell-24-Piece-Room-in-a-Bag/15390920 I would add some yellow pillows to the mix to tie in your yellow walls, & maybe a yellow coverlet to the foot of the bed.

ok, so bright yellow can go two ways, a super bright way and a softer way. to make a softer look, use pastel pinks, blues, greens, whatever you like, and use white as an accent color. this does make a softer affect on the space, but it can seem like a nursery. to go brighter, pair the yellow with colors like black to make it seem brighter to the eye. you can also pair the yellow with other super bright colors, but it might take away from the yellow and look like a rainbow got dizzy and threw up on your room. no one wants a room that makes you think of rainbow vomit.
