How do I wake up in the morning without feeling tired and/or going through that "five more minutes" phase?

If it takes you more than an hour to fall asleep, turn everything off-- no TV, computers, xbox, iPod, lights so your brain waves can normalize-- and get into bed by 9. That way you will already be relaxed and ready to sleep by ten when you are tired. You should have started getting yourself on this schedule a week ago, one night isn't enough.
