How could anyone stop you from celebrating any day you please? In fact, you could almost put together a full year of holiday celebrations from various countries around the globe. Now wouldn't that be an interesting project?

LOL :-D You can try by starting small -- invite some of your friends over for a Victoria Day celebration! Do you even know who Queen Victoria was and why Canadians celebrate her birthday? (I'm sure some fellow Canadians don't know the answer either!). This Canadian thinks, "If you're happy with the idea and you're not hurting anyone by it, go ahead and do it!"

Indeed you can. But then are you going to celebrate Memorial Day too?

First of all, Eric you must be a Canadian. Americans have no idea that today is Victoria day or any other holiday. Case in point, It is a holiday in Europe today also, and you have no idea what holiday it is.
