Yep. With a PQ minority regime, Quebec isn`t going anywhere. Minority gov`ts usually don`t last very long, either.

Quebec is not going anywhere. They have not yet found a way to move it or a new location to park it.

And, they will have to have a referendum, which will likely be lost. Only about 25% of Quebecers favour separation, and that number is dropping. They just didn't want the Liberals to get in.

Quebec will always be part of Canada .

-The separatist Parti Quebecois only got a minority government. That's not enough power to call for a Canada-wide referendum on whether Quebec should separate or not and any motion to do so can be easily defeated by Quebec's other political parties. -Polls show that only 28% of Quebec residents actually want separation. -In Canada's last Federal election (in 2011), Quebec voters decimated the Federal separatist party (the Bloc Quebecois) in favour of a mainstream Canadian one, the New Democratic Party: Link - http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/CanadaVotes/News/2011/05/02/18095131.html The thing to understand about Quebec's politics is this: Voters will elect separatists because they know separatists will work harder than other parties to make voters happy in the hopes those voters will support separation. Which voters never do, but separatists are so blinded by their pipe dreams of becoming a country that they're in denial of the fact they're being used.

I can see Quebec separating from Canada in about 50 or so years, I truly believe that one day Quebec will move on. But as its always been Quebec threatens to divide Canada and Canada in return threatens to divide Quebec. What I mean by this is the partition of Quebec when they do eventually leave. Quebec will not keep all their current territory. This is what a map of Canada would look like if Quebec one day left - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Canada_and_partitioned_Quebec_(preferences).png As you can see all of Northern Quebec will remain in Canada due to First Nations Aboriginal land. As with large areas of English speaking regions within Quebec. Basically the idea is that the new borders would be based on a return to historical boundaries that predate the Confederation of 1867. Yes it is.

It is a provincial election, just like they have in any other province at times.
