How to help sun rash?

i have been getting this rash on the backs of my hands at the beginning of every summer for ever and it is because of the sun. hence sun rash/ sun poisoning/ heat rash. does anyone ...show more

For immediate relief I'd try Benedryl (to help with the itching) and aspirin (to help with any pain or swelling). I have a similar reaction to the sun since I have very fair skin and I itch like crazy after exposure to the sun. If you can stand putting any kind of lotion on your skin (I can't, it makes my itching worse), then get some Benedryl gel and rub it on your skin, that should also help with the itching. If it gets too bad, I'd see a dermatologist.

well whenever i get a sun burn i use banana boat's aloe vera spray. it works really good and it doens't smell bad. it might work for whatever you have, too.
