How to get from Hamilton to Toronto at 2am?

    Taxi or private car are your only options. Unless you're making incredible money, a taxi obviously isn't worth it. Have you considered buying a car? Or moving to Hamilton?

It's tough, finding a job so far away from home and with such inconvenient hours, I agree. You really are in a dilemma here. There is absolutely no public transit at that hour, as you said. You may be possible to catch a ride with someone else who have the same schedule and don't live too far from you. You could try to advertise on craigslist, both in Toronto and Hamilton. http://www.craisglsist.com/ Also, you will of course have to pay some for both the inconvenience of whomever you get a ride with and help with the car costs as well. - Good luck.

Is buying a car or joining a car share program (like Zipcar) an option? That's really the only way you'll manage that commute. Or you could move to Hamilton. It's a lot cheaper there and parts of it are pretty nice.
