Can I drive in Canada with a UK provisional licence?

I have a UK automatic Licence,Can I exchange the licence in Ontario,Canada? I am moving to Toronto from UK.?

Check with Ontario. Probably you can drive on the UK licence for 6 months, after which you will have to take a test and get an Ontario licence and surrender the UK one. If you get an international licence in the UK, you can drive on that for a year before surrendering it. At least, that's what happened in BC. There is no endorsement for auto/manual in BC and you are allowed to take a test on auto and then drive manual. With your existing UK licence, you may have to follow those endorsements in Canada, i.e. not drive a manual until you get an Ontario licence.
