  • Answer:

The GO bus leaves every 30 minutes from the terminal behind Union Station for Hamilton it starts at 6 am and the last one back from Hamilton to T.O is 11:30 pm from the Hamilton bus terminal on Rebecca St, I do this route several times a month to go to Brantford ON and see family, it is th cheapest way, but Greyhound from the Dundas St. Bus terminal does it to, for more money and not as frequently, the GO train right now goes to Hamilton from Toronto via Burlington at 6-7-8 am and back, returns to Toronto for 4-5-6 pm in the evening, it is not on a regular schedule yet, but will be soon.

Go Train. No idea what the cost is.

wow... No, a city bus would not travel from Toronto or the GTA to Hamilton, and definitly not the toronto metro. You're looking at a greyhound or go bus to get you from Toronto to Hamilton and back. Seriously what gave you the idea that southern Ontario had such a dense population that would allow a city bus or metro to take you 2 hours both ways to Hamilton and back?

1 Hour each way in a car, Couple hours by bus. Renting a car is the best and after everything is added up cheapest.
