Answer:
To be honest, I think your schedule is a bit ambitious. You seem like a solid student but 6 APs is a lot. I took AP physics and eng lang & comp classes this year along with the AP us exam (w/o taking the class) and just those alone were hard. actually, u.s. and eng are prob not going to be that strenuous depending on how your teacher prepares you for the exam (whether its with a lot of hw and at-home work or mostly in school essays and practice exams) but AP physics (which i see you're not taking anyway) is a bit harder since, at least for me, its a lot of self-study and learning on your own time at home with practice problems. junior year is also already hard due to sat, sat subject tests, and a few APs, and I personally think 6 might be a bit much. However, I have not taken AP stat, psych, or span lang so idk how those classes are, although they too are most likely challenging. ap calc BC ill be taking next yr (my senior yr) since im taking precalc now, but so you know AB is a bit slower pace-wise and is easier compared to BC in which you prob should already have taken precalc and must still remember most of what was learned since you learn more in-depth and build on precalc. ap u.s. is u.s. history but more in depth details and a dbq (45 mins) and two thematic essays (35 mins each) on the AP. there are also tough (at least on this yrs exam which i just took fri) multiple choice q's (55 mins). AP lang is writing about writing -- you analyze a short piece talking about the techniques the author used and how effective he/she was. there are a total of three essays you must write on the AP (recommended time of 40 mins for each essay). theres also a multiple choice part thats a little tough too on the exam (1 hr for that). if youre worried about wanting to look good for college, youve already taken an ap in 10th grade which is great and if you get a 4 or 5 even in just a few APs in junior yr, its better than overstretching yourself and then getting 2s or 3s on those. ultimately its up to you of course, and since i dont know exactly your work ethic and personality and such i cant decide for you. however, it is my recommendation that you trim out at least 1 or 2 of those AP classes and go with honors or even an elective to ease the workload. but i applaud your ambition and desire to do the most you can! good luck whatever you decide!
