    if you didn't wear a respirator while breaking up those tiles you could easily have asbestosis, you could also have pnuemonia. I wouldn't see a regular doctor, I would go immediately to a pulmonologist and be sure to tell him your history as you have here.

Go to WebMd and look up the symptoms of bronchitis and the treatment of this. Stop smoking, take tylenol or ibuprofen on a regular basis for the pain/fevers, increase your water intake, run a humidifier in the bedroom where you sleep and expect it to take a minimum of 2 weeks before you are better.
