Coldwell banker real estate vs Prudential?

I started my real estate career with a Prudential franchise and after a relocation I am now with a Coldwell Banker franchise. They are both very similar in what they offer as far as marketing, technology and agent support. I agree with the other posters - you really need to determine if the office environment is one that fits you as an individual. I chose my first office because it was the only one in the area that offered a "new agent" training. Most companies just throw you out and let you go - which is why there are so many poorly trained agents out there. There is much more to real estate than being able to pass the test. Find a broker who offers education and who has someone to mentor and assist you - trust me, you'll need it.

It has nothing to do with the franchise brand you select, and everything to do with the ownership and management of the particular agency Both Coldwell-Banker and Prudential are 'franchise brands'. The type of support you are seeking is provided by neither national company. All of that is provided by the local affiliate of the franchise. You need to interview the managing brokers of each to determine what each will provide.
