  SteveN gives you a good answer. You do need to apply to the school you want and be accepted as a student before you can get a visa. Just having the minimums may not get you a seat in class. You are looking at a range of prices it is a big country. Depending on what class you want they are not all the same price and what place you would be living. The second part is your personal needs ,the food you want to eat, where you want to live on campus with other students or off campus either in your own place or shared with others. For Budgeting purposes you can expect to spend $20-30,000 per year. It can be much more. This does not include your travel to and from Canada and the expenses associated with application. fees.
