How much money does a kid get for a paper route?

    I don't want to be negative, but you really make very little money for a lot of work. You have to roll the papers, deliver them, collect money usually. But since there are very few jobs out there for 12 year olds, it is probably one of the only ways you can make money.

If i were you I would stop wasting my time with the paper route.Because to be honest you barely make any money at all.So just find some different ways to make money like: helping out more around the house or babysitting and I know that this suggestion is the oldest one in the books but you could start up your own lemonade stand.Or before that maybe you should start asking your neighbors if there is anything that they don't have easy acces to like a supermarket or an electronics store and charge maybe a little more than what you payed for what you bought and make some profit here or there so thats my advice to you and don't forget to bargain with people but still be reasonable like a good businessman.

do not follow these folks -- call the newspaper and inquire if they have any open routes -- you will want one in your neighbor hood and also inquire how much they estimate the route to be!!! also talk to the paper boy who delivers in your area and ask him/her when she plans on quiting!!!
