Where can you get help with a utility bill? I don't have a salvation army in my area. no help from comm action?

just talk to the company and tell them that you can't afford to pay your bill in full each month. then, next month just don't leave the lights on so much.

What state do you live in? You should be able to find that info from your state's website. Also if you call the utility companies and ask them which organizations offer fuel assistance. They can tell you, they have that info. If you speak to a rep who does not know ask to speak with someone else. Good luck!

The utility company should have a list of places you can go for assistance. Some churches help with this, and if you have a REAL Services, in your town, they help as well. They go by your income, so if you make too much, you will not qualify.
