How can american get Thai visa for staying like 2 weeks to 1 month, how to and how much does it cost?

Yes, but just so you know, do not ask for "visa on arrival". That is the incorrect term. Actually, if you hold a valid US passport, you are qualified under Thailand's visa waiver program. No payment. Get off the plane and make your way to the immigration check point with your fully and properly filled out immigration form (u get it on the plane before arriving). You will get a stamp good for a 30 day stay. You can extend it a little at immigration offices but don't play with fire. Stay, have a good time then leave when you are supposed to to avoid any problems. Be kind, courteous and obey the laws and culture, and you will be just fine, mate. Enjoy and be safe. If you plan or end up meeting a girl in a bar or something, be respectful and ALWAYS wear protection.......don't become a statistic and ruin your life, or somebody elses life.

If you have a US passport you can get a visa on arrival. It used to last for 30 days (a few years back).

r u going on holiday?? my father in law stays there like almost 3 months every year and I dont believe that he has to make any special arrangments beefore he buys his tix...so yes I think you can get visa on arrival...
