if her nose is bleeding that bad go to the doctors and go get it cauterize, her blood vessel in the nose is very thin, and what the cauterizing does is makes it thinker. like mixing a cake it is water at first til you put the cake mix in and it gets thicker, yeah something like that but it will stop the nose bleeding i have had it done, it doesn't hurt at all, they just shove a big Q-tip in the nose. it not that bad you should go do that for your daughter.

your best bet would be to see a ear, nose, and throat doctor. the person who answered adnoids may be right. my nose used to do the same thing. when it was too dry in the house we had to use a humidifier along with putting glycerin (the same glycerin that gives some hand lotions moisture) around each nostril. when it happens, the other answerer was right too. pinch the nose, apply ice pack, DO NOT tilt head back, swallowing the blood can make her sick, throw up and start bleeding again. the hardest part of all is to leave the clot alone. also, has she been checked for anemia?

Hi, Im 34 years old and ive been having nose bleeds all my life, I had the same thing happen to me, i always had huge clots to come out after pulling tons of tissue out of my nose. i had to get my nose stuffed with gauze and liquid nitrate by a doctor, it burned and hurt , afterwards i still had nosebleeds , the next time it happens, pinch the nostrils together where the bone is in her nose and cool her off, get ice packs, cool towels whatever u can find to cool her off, put them on her neck, shoulders and forehead but do not hold her head back she is swallowing her own blood and that could make her sick, u want to AVOID forceful nose blowing, avoid lifting anything after a nosebleed, and use saltwater or nasal spray, also when shes sleep, elevate her head on one or two pillows, if u do these things she should be ok.......her nasal passages are probably too dry and she could also have high blood pressure and thats her bodies way of relieving the pressure........I hope this helps, let me know how it turns out
