Is this a mild allergic reaction to a bee sting?

I had an allergic reaction to a bee sting years ago and suffered allergic shock. What precautions should I tak?

    You should definitely be carrying an epi-pen and some benadryl with you whenever you know you will be in an area where there are bees. If you have a confirmed allergy to bee stings, you cannot afford to guess if/when the next reaction will occur. Talk to your doctor, as the epi-pen requires a script. Yes, the Epi-pen is a must to take with you at all times. Make sure you keep it fresh - get another one if it expires. Also, it's important for you to know that using the Epi-pen only buys you time to get to an emergency room. This medication, by itself, is not enough. You still need to seek medical attention.
