Answer:
As above, truly truly "rare" openings are rare because they immediately either cause weaknesses or allow any moderately experienced opposing player to dominate the game. The commonality to all four openings you mention: 1. e4. So, if you're looking for something different, focus on 1. d4 for awhile. Go for the Queen's Gambit, and look at the Slav or Tarrasch. (Better still, focus on opening principles only until you've got a lot of tactical training under your belt...) No? OK. Play the English, then. 1. c4 is not completely heterodox - Wikipedia says it's the 4th most popular first move - but can lead to all sorts of odd openings. Good luck!

If i were you i would try the Ponziani opening. It is really fun to play full of traps if thats what you like and also an opening i feel gives white a big edge in position. also black must play very carefully with it in order to aviod positional traps. i have 100% record from 15 games with it!

In my opinion, there are two ways to answer this... There are uncommon openings that are played by the masters, just less often, and then there are openings that are uncommon because they are not very good. Some of the more uncommon openings that are fairly sound but not played very often at top levels: Benko/Volga gambit, Kings gambit, Dutch Defense, Queen's Indian Defense. Some that are uncommon but not very sound: The Orangutan, the Spike opening, The Polish defense, the Van Kruys opening.

first of all, all of the openings you give, with the exception of the Ruy Lopez, are weak opening traps designed to take advantage of amateurs. You should not try to play The Fried Liver Attack, Legall's mate and Scholar's Mate on intermediate or advanced players, especially advanced players as these openings leaves weaknesses that could be exploited by an experienced player. ps. you forgot the fool's mate

1.h4?, then 2.e4 gives up a tempo to black and tries Bg5 But these openings are uncommon for a reason: THEY SUCK Schliemann Defence for Ruy Lopez is somewhat doubtful, but pretty unusual .I like schliemann though, but uncommon openings are not good at all. You should stick to a proper opening and scare your opponent with some unexpected variation of it, like Schliemann Defense. But really you should think twice since after all these decades of analyzing, that line is not played for a reason. You must know the weakness of this uncommon opening to truely do good with it
