Don't go that route..........if your credit history is already poor they'll fleeece you. Try Citizens Advice or debt counselling. There are other avenues.

consolidation loans are bad. Set up your own budget...figure out how much you can pay per month and pay them all off. If you have to then get a second job. Thre is no way to wipe the slate clean. You still owe it and will always owe it, as long as you opted to take on the debt from the start. Cut up your charge cards or put them into the freezer so that if you go to use them you will have time while they thaw out to think of the fact that you are causing yourself more harm by using them. Usually if you own nothing, no bank or loan company, or even people for that matter will give you a loan. They want collateral.
