Are Indian citizens required a Schengen visa when in transit?

I want to visit mauritius with my family.i know that visa is not required for indian citizens to visit there.?

Hi Swati! According to this; http://tinyurl.com/nzqt6df notice from the passport and immigration office’s official website, Indian citizens do not require a visa to visit Mauritius. All you would need is proof of your nationality i.e. a passport and your air tickets. Hope to have answered your question and have a pleasant stay in the country.
