  While testing the driving skills of my new drivers, I had a variety of tricks. I would have a cup of coffee in my hand and tell the prospective driver, "If you make me spill my coffee, you ain't going to make it." I would hold my hat, arm, papers or something in such a way as to block the view of the right side mirror. I never passed anyone that didn't complain. Obviously, you have been given some driving instructions, so... Remember while you are behind the wheel, you are the boss. You will have to do the things as instructed, but make sure you do them safely. Relax, drive like you own the truck, Watch everything around you, especially when turning. If you are driving a stick shift, make sure you know the transmission and the clutch, each tranny is different and each clutch responds differently to foot pressure.
