When will Israel give non-Jews in the west bank get equal rights to Jews?

Never.

That's what I've been wondering for a very long time, why don't over 4 million Palestinian have the right to vote in the "Israeli" election? Because of settlers,and full "Israeli" control I assume that "Israel" considers the West Bank to be part of it, then why don't the people living there have their rights?

The Jewish inhabitants of the West Bank are Israeli citizens. I am an Israeli citizen and I live in New Zealand. I even built a house in New Zealand and the government of New Zealand never told me to leave New Zealand because im Jewish. The non-Jews in the West Bank are Arabs who have been fighting the Israelis and Jews even before Israel existed. Israel doesnt want those people to become Israeli citizens. There are Arabs who are Israeli citizens today who actively speak out against Israel and its existence and those people are in the Israeli govenrment (see Hanin Zuabi). Israel wont give non-Jews (namely, Palestinians) inhabitants of the West Bank equal right, because Israel wont give them citizenships. The reason Israel wont give them citizenships is because every countries first goal is to survive.

Understand, even Israel does not consider the West Bank Israel. Therefore the Arabs that live there, are not Israelis and are not granted citizenship. Any Jew in the world can be an Israeli if they choose, so this problem is solved. Your question should be. Why don't the Arabs in the West Bank want to be Palestinians? Why do they want to be Israeli?? That is because our social services and medical facilities are some of the best in the world and their options or the options they can get in Jordan or Egypt cannot compare. Life is improving rapidly in the West Bank. According to reports the economy there is one of the fastest growing in the world. Life in Ramallah is getting back to the way it was before the intifada. Things are moving in the right direction. Don't worry my friend. If the leaders don't screw things up we are in a good place right now. K

Unfortunately I can't foresee it in the near future. Interesting answer "The answer is that NO State gives equal rights to non-citizens. From what planet are you?" So why do settlers get rights and Palestinians don't? Last time I looked the West Bank (minus Jerusalem) had not been annexed. @shitake5, with all due respect you may be an Israeli citizen, but you still live on sovereign New Zealand soil, Isreali courts and laws have no affect on you, and certainly have no jursidiction over your Gentile neighbours. The West Bank is not sovereign Israeli soil. Palestinians in the West Bank are not treated the same as their settler counterparts. They do not share the same rights.

They are not citizens of israel , nor do many of them want to be part of israel - so why on EARTH should israel give them equal rights ???? Not to mention the fact that these people openly support terrorists that make no secret of their desire to kill jews on masse and attack israeli civilians almost daily ... name me one other country in the world that gives equal rights to non citizens.. and if it is an issue that so concerns you - ie - people not being treated fairly because of their race or faith - then let me point you in the direction of Saudi, UAE, Iran, iraq, afghanistan, france, and numerous others ... or are they not quite as interesting if their issues dont come with the opportunity for a bit of jew/ israel bashing ??
