be careful , they don`t allow some foods to cross the border between states .Crossed into California once ,they found an apple that had rolled under the car seat . The fuss they made -thought we were going to end up in Guantanimo .Sending a stotty cake from Geordieland or a pasty from Kernow might be mistaken for an chemical attack on the good ol` US of A.

Not exactly English, but a good Scot haggis is difficult to find here. Otherwise, we eat pretty much the same foods you do. But, the US is EXTREMELY regional in it's eating habits, so you will find that eel is common in some areas but not in others. Crayfish is popular in some areas and unheard of in others. Rocky Mountain "Oysters" (bull testicles) are served in some states and not in others. Chitlins (deep fried pig intestines) are common in the South and not in other regions. By the way, we DO have Tetleys in our supermarkets.
