They have to be amber in the front. In the rear, they can be amber or red. White is not legal.

The color is for safety and not your fashion style. They are federal laws standard so every one is on the same page. These people are a lot smarter than you so why not leave it alone.
The law for Ohio is the same for all states.....you have to have amber colored lights in the front and red or amber in the rear.
