Answer:
lots of squats and squat jumps! i have one of the highest vertical jumps on my team and i am one of the shortest haha! you just need to build up abit more muscle in your lower body and try hopping up stairs at home one one foot, then switch. if you get all the balance right then you might want to try holding books for more weight! go on youtube because they have lots of tips to help you improve your vertical jump

I am 5.1ft tall and hardly ever get played up front because of this. I have been playing volleyball for three years I was on the team my 8th grade year and freshman year I tried out this year and didn't make it because of my grades. I started out not being able to jump at all so I got extra help from my coach, while she was working with others I would go to the other side of the gym where I could be alone and was stuck doing a strict training session I guess you could call it but all you can do is jump there is specific exercises you can do to improve your vertical like going up to a wall and jumping as high as you can then put a piece of tape up where you reached jump and jump and jump for a couple weeks and you will notice the tape marks do get higher. I now can play front and spike like a crazy person hope this helps you!!!!

1st you have to measure vertical jump. You have to work your legs.2) Start with jump rope, make sure you feet are together when you jump.2) You can do squats and make sure you are doing to right. You should feel it working you entire low body as well as stretching your cole muscles around your back and abdomen. 3) Running stairs work the same muscles. 4) Build up your calves muscles by used a step to lift your toes don't put your heel on the step. 5) You can also do legs curl. Good Luck!

Well for starters you have to know how high you can jump in your personal vertical. Then you just keep on jumping and jumping as much as you can anywhere you can. If you follow this easy one step helper and just keep on doing it, you will be jumping higher in no time!!! :)
