  The Grateful Dead used to play music for deaf people. "Within the Deadhead community exist several subcultures. Some exist to help others during difficult times while others exist for no other reason than to enjoy the music. Perhaps one of the more unique subcultures of the Deadhead community are the Deafheads, who, not surprisingly, are deaf. They use resonating props, such as balloons and paper cups, to "feel" the music through vibrations.
