It's impossible to tell from the info. Is it a draft league? Do you just pick any of the players you want? Is there a limit on the number of changes you can make during the season? If you can change your roster weekly, make sure you pick players who are playing 4 times per week. If daily, make sure you always have players that are playing that day. What's the scoring system like? If they reward wins heavily, you don't want to take Kipper unless you think he'll win a lot. If they reward saves heavily I'd take Emery or even Fleury--they will each face a lot of shots. If they reward goals, get goalscorers. If they reward assists as much as goals, replace Lecav with St. Louis. Stuff like that. Good luck with the pool. :)

I would bet that most of your choices will not make it past round one, so this is not a good grouping. I would have picked at least one Devil, Sabre, Red Wing, Duck and Star. Then pick few of the Superstars on teams that are more longshots

Too m any Calgary players. You say you want to ensure you go the distance and not lose all your guys, but you put too many eggs in your basket there from Calgary. I know there are many Calgary fans that think they'll go all the way, but let's be realistic here...there's a good chance they'll be knocked out of the first round, and then you'd be screwed.

Sorry but here is who i would chose... Joe Thornton - San Jose Sharks Jaromir Jagr - New York Rangers Teemu Selanne - Anaheim Ducks Miikka Keprusoff - Calgary Flames Oleg Saprykin - Ottawa Senators Sidney Crosby - Pittsburgh Penguins Scott Niedermayer- Anaheim Ducks P.S. your list is pretty good! Are you a calgary fan??? Lots of Calgary picks! LOL

youre dumb, you picked no red wings players... the hottest team in the nhl. congrats.

Should've taken as many Sharks and Penguins as possible. Since they will be playing eachother in the finals. Good thing you didn't go with any Red Wings as they will be out in the first five games. Your Calgary players will only get you through 6 games of the second round, Lecavalier is always a safe pick but it depends on how far Tampa Bay can go. Maybe only 5 or 6 games.

ehhhhh its ok but you need some wings and some wild dudes in there!! good luck! =)

She picked no Red Wings players because not one is in the top 15 in goals (Zetterberg is 28th) or points (Datsyuk is 17th). They might win but they spread it around too much. I'd take out the calgary players and add in St. Louis TB, Hossa or Kovalchuk ATL, and either Thornton SJ or Vanek BUF. Goalie I'd say Giguere, but stay away from Cal...they'll be out first round. If you don't agree with Giguere just pick a team you see going to the conference finals at least.

Add a Sabre or two; that's my advice! The previous answerer gave you good advice when he suggested Thomas Vanek.

You must have a lot of faith in the Flames to pick three of their players on your roster. I don't see them repeating their Cinderella run of '04. Either Staal or Saprykin will fall after the lst round because they against each other. (Also, Saprykin is a fourth-liner who might not even dress for the playoffs. Mike Comrie or even Chris Kelly are better bets.) I think you need to pick a few more players from teams that are higher seeded. (i.e. Zach Parises w/Devils; Hecht, Roy, Pominville w/Sabres; Zetterberg, Lang w/Red Wings; Fisher w/Senators, etc.)
