Ear candles?

they are very safe i have been using them all my life. your ears might hurt because u had a lot of wax in them and your just get blanced back out. or maybe not enough wax. the more you use them the less they will hurt. sorry i cant give u any tips for the pain. i have never had any

I used them, and I felt way better. I guess it just depends. Maybe you didn't have enough ear wax to use them, or you're just sensitive to them. At least you tried it, you could never know if these were bad for you until you tried. I didn't have pain, but yeah it just depends on your body. Everyone's different.

Ear candles are safe to use, so long as there are two people present, the client (duh) and the therapist. Its not safe to do to yourself. The olive oil definately helps soften the wax prior to the service. I also recommend placing some on cotton balls and placing them in your ears after, this helps with wind and sound sensitivity. How many candles did you do in each ear? I've done up to 3-4 in each ear and sometimes the first one only loosens things up. If you have the patience to sit still long enough for 3-4 candles, I think you will be alot happier. How far did you stick your candle in your ear? Perhaps you hit the ear drum by jamming it into your ear? It should only be in far enough so that it is sealed and a vacuum is formed. Don't give up on this valuable service. Good luck.

You asked the people at the health store?? OF COURSE, they'd tell you that they're safe! DUHH!! NO, they are NOT actually safe to use.
