How much should a car battery / installation cost?

Most Auto-parts stores will install the battery for free if you buy from them and leave your old battery as a core charge.(They pay you for it.)

try looking for a wal-mart that has a auto service center they will give you a good deal

First of all you will be getting ripped off by anyone that tells you the battery is causing hesitation problems while driving. Your battery only starts the car, that's it. Once the engine is running the alternator is supplying the electricity for the car's electronics. That being said a new battery should be between $60 to $80 for your car and installation should be free no matter where you take it. Doing it yourself is probably the easiest thing you could do to your car and if I (just a girl) could do it anyone can. Yes my brothers are mechanics so I picked up a few things but believe me it's easy.

Hi, Honda's are generally pretty do-it-yourself cars. Google some on "how to install car battery" with your year make and model. If you have a handy friend, they could probably help you install it yourself. If your not feeling adventurous, Sears, Costco, or Jiffy Lube could probably install at a decent price.

find a cheap battery anywhere and install it yourself. when you do this make sure you take the negative wire off last, put the new batterie in and attach the negative wire first, its accually really simple
