What happens if you don't pay your magazine subscription?

If it goes on for a long time they would stop sending the magazines. Then if you still don't pay they might get the law involved.

Oh, I did that once too! I subscribed to this Americangirl magazine (stupid i know right!) just for fun/ to get one of their magazines. However i gave them false information, like a wrong name. They mailed me a magazine to my apt., where i no longer live, so i don't really care cuz they can't trace you no more. From my experience, they would always bill you untill they think you won't give in money anymore and that they would give you this stupid warning if you don't pay up and stuff. Anyways, afterwards they stopped billing for some reason, i guess they realized it was useless since the info was false. But they did sent me advertisements and stuff later. I know what i did was wrong but i was immature at age 10, where my parents didn't/couldn't afford to buy magazines monthly. I suggest you don't do that because like other people say, you may never know when a person comes knocking to your door for payment! hope this helps! :)

Probably report you as bad credit to the credit agencys.

They stop sending it to you....just call them and ask them if they can Unsubscribe you..

They would turn you over to a collection agency for payment which can negatively affect your credit. And you still must pay or they can sue you. A better thing to to if you change your mind about a magazine subscription is write "cancel" across the bill. Then they can only charge you for the actual issues you already rec'd...not the whole year's worth.

They stop sending you the magazines. Then they continue sending you bills until they decide you won't pay and your bill is turned over to a collection agency. They start sending you bills and if they can get your phone number they will call you and harass you. Unless you pay them, they will never get the money.

I would think they would stop sending you magazines . You had to have paid at least once to get the subscription started.
