How can I organize myself, but not have a load in my my backpack?

you can also get a rolling backpack it could be easy on your back . I get Those for my daughter it's easy on her back (she's going in thee 6th grade)

Well, first clean out your binder every month (once school starts)You should have folders or tabs that has each subject on it, put everything that relates to the subject in it. Try to have one binder only, having two makes your backpack really heavy. Stay organized by having a place for everything in your desk or locker. Don't stuff things in your locker, backpack, and desk. It messes up your organization. Organization tips: put things you use frequently in places that are easy to reach, if you have more than one big pocket in your backpack DON'T put all the heavy things in one pocket spread the weight out, use both straps when carrying your backpack. First of all, you need a seperate folder/notebook/binder for every class. This makes it easy to find your work. Label each folder/notebook/binder by what class its for. Ex: History, Math, Science. Keep your locker clean. Dont just throw stuff in it. Put your stuff in neatly because if you dont the sloppiness will ruin it. Only take home the books that you need. If you HAVE to take home alot of books then dont carry all of them in your backpack because your back will be sore. Carry some in your hands but not so many. You want a nice strong backpack not the cheap kind. To keep your stuff organized at home. You might set out a drawer for your school stuff and dont keep it thrown around. get some zippered pencil cases or makeup bags. Use one for pencils/pens/etc, one for makeup (if you wear it/are old enough) - as many as you need to sererate your stuff. Also, don't just throw papers into your packback. Put them in something. have a folder for each class or a section of your notebook. If you must just stuff them in, at least organize them into their folders after school when you get home. Just make a point not to throw anything in your bag without putting it in it's case or folder.

Keep a 3 ring binder with a divider for each subject. Keep a hole puncher in your locker so you can put worksheets and handouts in the binder right away.

Take out notes or paper or any lots of junk that you don't think you need in class that week. Any thing you do need keep in a few paper folders or plastic rather then a binder(which takes up More space..). You can also make each folder a different subject. If you have more than 1 book to carry like 3 than put one in your backpack and carry the two with your arms or else bring a paper bag (from hollister or anything) and put your book in there. When you KNOW you have some pieces of junk in there CLEAN IT OUT!

well 4 starters i dont no if ur school runs the same as mine, but 4 me id c what class i had first thing when i got my scedule and c when i could go to my locker and basicly went 4rm there. i never had my backpack over stuffed. i went 2 my locker about 4 times a day some times even less it just depends.could u help me with my question is on the preteen and teen catagory under parenting and pregnacy.
