What are the good ways to prepare physicaly for an exam?

I always to wanted if they were some proven tips ( given that one has studied very well ) to perform at the maximum of my chances at an exam. What should i do for my body ( like drinking coffee ) to be at 100% of my thinking capacity and attention during an exam.

it is always better to consume more of home made foods preferable light food at frequent intervals is advised since we will be busy studying always ,we should take breaks in between and have some food or a juice ,it is the best way.. it is always best to get up early in the morning and if you have time ,better to sleep in the afternoon,it is the most unproductive time as far as exams are concerned

I prepared for Medical Entrance exam two years back and most of the previous year was spent being holed up in a room. The only activities I engaged in were studying and eating. I was under constant pressure to perform well in class and to remain mentally stable, to minimize my needs and importantly, try not to get sick, which was a herculean task. My mother deserves all credit for keeping me well during this time. I was well nourished, with food at my dispense when I required. I also took multivitamins, cod liver oil, calcium supplements (I still do). You can stop worrying about gaining weight (I lost it later), and feed yourself to supplement all the glucose your brain is using up. I didn't really abuse coffee much, but I do now. If it keeps you up, you can go right ahead with it. Its always a good thing to engage in physical activity daily (I didn't) so if you manage to find time, you could go walking, swimming, cycling or anything similar that requires minimum time and effort. Meditation: I cannot highlight importance of yoga enough. Keeps you well grounded, focused and rooted. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs food that could make you sick. I know countless number of people who suffered from typhoid, food poisoning, gastritis and lost months of valuable time. Nevertheless, its impossible to escape the outcomings of chronic stress and hormonal imbalances. Despite my best efforts, I suffered a manic PMS attack during my board exams and was diagnosed with (ergo mild) metabolic syndrome of hyperinsulinaemia. All these are the things of the past and I'm well. I got into a good medical college and have turned into my natural irresponsible self. However, the list is very ideal and well, I hope it helped.
