What materials can i do to make an Animal/Plant cell model?

    for the main cell body.. u could get one of those fake plant foam things.. where u stick in the fake flowers... its easy to cut to shape it to wat you would like it to be.. and is able to hold the other small cell particles. as for the organelle inside the cell, you can use some pipe cleaners (easy tobend into any shape you desire) you can use cotton balls with food coloring and use them as a type of organelle (mind you, make sure they dry) popsicle sticks can be used and cut. for the cell membrane, you could get an old tube sock, or buy one and pull it over top of it. and then cut it to watever shape u need to reveal the inner parts... this might be an odd thing to use and probably wont work... but the inside of a hot pepper cut horizontally looks like the inside of mitochodria if i remember correctly... those are a few i can come up with on top of my head.

Styrofoam, toothpicks, colored play dough, and maybe construction paper depending on how much effort you want to put in it. The Styrofoam may be substituted with something else but i am not sure.?

Lol, I did this in grade 8 too... It depends, but in general, I used a clear, rectangle pencil case for the cell wall, a styrofoam ball for the nucleous, these cosmetic foam pads for most of the other stuff, a balloon for the vacoules, pipe cleanesr for the umm thing tha tsurrounds the nucleous & I glued beads onto that, and I used hair gel for the cytoplasm. I don't remember all of it though. The hair gel didn't last long before it started to smell, but I'm sure her teacher will be done marking it by then. Hope this helps!

Use different colours of plastacine (playdough/modelling clay). Thats what we use in my college class.

I did this earlier for an animal cell: Go to an arts and crafts store and get one of those big styrofoam balls, cut it in half, but cut the edges to make it more "blobby" and not perfectly round. Then I used play dough, clay, and paint to make the different organelles. For the DNA in the nucleus I used string, for ribosomes I used those little sewing push pins with the balls on top, and for the plasma membrane I used aluminum foil.

Back when I was in school and we had to do a similar project I made a cake and frosted on the different parts. My teacher thought it was a very unique idea and my class enjoyed eating it afterward.

ive done this before okay so u can use a bowl to make the round bottom if shes making a plant cell cover the top part with alumium or colored paper use glue to attach candy pieces for ribosomes mitochondria then take a thooth pick label them and stick them into the pieces have fun also use clay for some picese

i hate gisel
