I want to keep my son home from school tomorrow, to help celebrate his 11th birthday, whats a good excuse?

he's only 11 .. they will fall for anything.. say he was sick with tteh cold or flu.. or had an appt. and would miss the majority of the day .. started his period.. ahah jk .. or umm you had to go out of town for the day to a near by city to visit a sick relative.. or just say personal reaasons.. send him to school the next day with a note instead of calling.. its much easier then you wont have to lie over the phone

That basically he isn't feeling well, it the oldest one yes but if the mother calls in to say it how are they suppose to know it's not true?

Instead of teaching your kid to lie, why not call the school and tell them you have a special day planned for his birthday and he won't be in school today. You're his mother, you can do that!

Don't do it!! May start a pattern. Do it on the week end.

my son has an family activity that he needs to be part of and he will not be showing for /00/00/0000 day.

say that your son has a virus and that you have no insurance and that he had to stay at home... need any more email me at [email protected]

Just call and say that he was running a slight fever and inform them that if the fever does not go away he will be taken to the doctor. And then when his teacher asks the next day just tell him to say that the fever went away and he is feeling much better. It was probably just a bug or something.

And the truth shall set you free! Say its his birthday, and you want to spend the day with him to celebrate because you never spend time with him and you want it to be special. [okay a little lie wont hurt... ^_^] Oh, yeah. Tell him, I said "Happy Birthday"
