Is early childhood educ.the program to choose if i want to become a preschool or kindergarden teacher?

    Also keep in mind that if you plan to teach preschool in the private sector, the pay is usually a LOT lower than teaching Kindergarten for a public school. However, this usually reflects the education level required( Bachelors Degree vs. a few college credits). Ask you adviser which option works for your future career plans.

Yes, that's the right one....but you may not want to limit yourself like that. You may find that you want to teach in the elementary age range once you get out in the field. You could get your degree in elementary education, but minor in early childhood to open your possibilities a little more. I'm a Special Education teacher and can teach K-12 with that degree. I've really enjoyed the flexibility, especially when job openings are slim.
