Can your receive financial aid for college more then once?

Can I just leave one community college and go to another community college and receive financial aid .?

  • Can I just leave one community college and go to another community college and receive financial aid , if not what can I do to allow this to happen.

  • Answer:

Not in the middle of a semester you can't. It is against Title IV regulations to receive financial aid from 2 schools at the same time. If you are done with the semester at one, then you can put the other on your FAFSA and get financial aid at the other one.

yes, for the next semester you can do this. you need to let the community college that you're currently at that you don't want to accept your financial aid for the spring semester and then inform your new community college that you wish to transfer your financial aid to them. you cannot make this move in midsemester

You mean can you go to one college in the fall and another in the spring. Certainly, a lot of people have done this. It sure beats taking off a semester to pay for it out of pocket What you need to do if you haven't done so already is to add in your new, transferring school on the fafsa and apply for the new college
