i dont think it matters personally. but in order to be president you have to be a citizen. if you were born out of the country you can't be one. phil is trying to knock obama out of the race.

Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. His mother, who was American, met his father, a Kenyan, in college. His father left the famliy when Barack was young. He was raised for the most part by his American grandmother.
