How expensive is acting school?

How hard is it to get into the acting school (Tisch) at NYU? ?

  you cant just get into the school and then transfer into the theater program; whether youre a student there already or not, you MUST audition to get into the acting program, and that particular school is highly competitive. but also keep in mind that nyu is an ivy league-caliber school, and your chances of getting into ANY of their programs is statistically about 3%. they get thousands of applicants per year and only the top students across the country are excepted. your gpa must be extremely high, you will need to have taken a lot of ap courses, and your sats must also be impressive. sorry to say, "ok actors" dont get into nyu theater. and "ok students" dont get into nyu, period. apply to several other schools.
