What are some good ways to get in touch with restaurant and cafe owners in India?

I want to get in touch with the cafe and restaurant owners to pitch a 30 day free trial of our product. I went to a few business and met their restaurant manager, but the buck stopped there. Maybe the manager isn't too bothered and the chain breaks. How can I effectively make way to the restaurant owner. p.s. I don't have any contacts in the restaurant business.

To get your initial set of customers and free trial customers you MUST meet restaurant owners and work with them to see if your product is solving a problem for them or not. You should look at your current city only and make a list of what kind of restaurants you want to target. If its cafe and dine in restaurants , focus only on that and try doing your research on who in your city is adopting new technology. Make a list of the good review restaurants from and and look at which owners answer queries, bad reviews and they will be a great target audience to initially meet, get references from Friends or other startups and then do your cold calls and just go show the product and see how they react and do tis with 10-15 restaurants and you will get a feel of if your product is exciting for them, solving a problem for them or not and once you get product market fit and they are paying you money for the value you are providing then everything else will start falling in place. You have to do the first 30 meetings and 10 sales by meeting them. The manager chain is a huge problem, you must push and push to meet the owner always, try doing your research on the owner, helped and still helps me a lot, I'll follow him on twitter, get to know him or her better and their friends circle and if possible connect via some common connection, but it's pure hard work at the end of it.
