Where is a good place to travel to in the summer?

Is there any place in China that backpackers travel to during the summer?

  • I would like to travel to (preferably south) China during this summer (July-Aug). It should be a place where there are many backpackers (not families) Any recommendation?

    South of China,Jiangsu province Suzhou should be a nice place to go,many nice cultural landscapes with beautiful characteristic builds ,in China,there was a phrase .Above there is heaven, below there are suzhou and hangzhou.If you have only few days and want to have a taste of south china.Suzhou should fit you well.
