Not going to happen. As soon as you show up at the Unemployment Office they will send you out on job interviews. Remember to apply for unemployment in NYC you sign a paper declaring you are WILLING AND ABLE to work. With the teacher shortage in NYC,there will be 10 jobs, and you will never see a dime in unemployment.
